Berniece Neoma Guoan

Berniece Neoma Guoan, of Crawfordville, passed away quietly Tuesday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 98. Berniece was born in Arenac County, MI, on April 20, 1927, to Theodore and Mabel Rashott.

After marriage, she and David moved to Naples, FL. In 2014, they relocated to Crawfordville, where she worked in the school system. She retired at the age of 89. She loved her family and her dogs dearly.

Berniece was preceded in death by David, her husband of 62 years, and her grandson Mark Turner of Naples, FL. Survivors include her daughter Valerie Turner and husband Michael of Crawfordville, FL; two grandchildren, Richard Turner and Beth Baker (Brian); five great-grandchildren, Julia Carrasquillo (Orlando) of Puerto Rico, Jacob Turner of Crawfordville, Susan Hester (Trey) of Thomasville, GA, Beau Baker, and Sydney Baker, both of Crawfordville; and three great-great-grandchildren, Valli and Lana Carrasquillo and Naomi Hester. She is also survived by siblings Donald "Jim" Rashott and Margie Kent, both of Standish, MI.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice.

Funeral Service will be @ 1:30 PM, FRIDAY, May 16, 2025

Interment with Final Rites will be immediately after the service on Friday
