Keaton
Oct 29, 1979 — Oct 24, 2024
Calrton DeShawn Keaton
Carlton DeShawn Keaton was born in Monticello, Florida, on October 29, 1979. He was the son of Gary W. Plummer and Cynthia R. Keaton, both of whom preceded Carlton in death.
Carlton grew up in Monticello, where he began his education in public school. Carlton, being very inquisitive and adventurous-minded, traveled and lived between the states of Florida and Georgia. He finally settled in Eastman, Georgia, where he resided with Mr. Antony Brown, who became his father figure. Carlton lovingly referred to Mr. Brown's siblings as uncle Cornelius Brown and aunt Charlett Brown.
Carlton enjoyed watching football; his favorite teams were the Miami Hurricanes and the Miami Dolphins. His greatest pleasure in his leisure was fishing.
On October 28, 2024, Carlton finished his earthly course and went to be with the Lord. His love and memories will be cherished forever by his children, Carlton Deshawn Keaton, Jr. and Jayden Keaton; brother, Eric Hughes; uncles, Clyde Swan, Scottie Brockman, Sammy Ray Keaton, and Clifford Plummer all of Monticello, FL; aunts, Rhonda Keaton of Fayetteville, NC, Alesia Wilkerson of Memphis, TN, Tabbie Mathis, Kathy Jackson, Josephine Keaton and Joyce Plummer all of Monticello, FL, Odean Plummer, Mildred Berhane and Linda (Ken) Smith all of Miami, FL; his beloved Eastman, Georgia family, Anthony Brown, Tabitha Northcut, Cornelius Brown, and Charlett Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
