On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, while at home surrounded by her family, Catherine Diane Montford, 71, of Crawfordville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord.

Those cherishing her fond memories include her daughter, Jaimiean (Chris) Harrison; sons, Steve Lamson, Ray (Laurie) Lamson, John Lamson, and Christopher Rentz; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A native of Middletown, Connecticut, Catherine relocated to Crawfordville, Florida, around thirty years ago. Known for her tender, loving disposition, Catherine raised and nurtured several members of her family. She also loved and nurtured pets of all sorts. Catherine enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and crocheting.

Catherine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Odis Kern Montford, on September 17, 2023.
