David Parrish Lilly
1967 - 2024

David Parrish Lilly was born to Copeland "Sonny" and Mary Lilly on May 10, 1967 in West Palm Beach, FL.

At an early age, David accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at the Community Chapel Church by the late Rev. Orie Gissenter.

He was educated through the Palm Beach County School District; he enhanced his education with studies in electronics. David began showing serious entrepreneurship skills around the age of 12 and became well known for installing stereos and speakers in vehicles, tinting windows, and making mixed tapes.  By the age of 14 he had a thriving business.

David relocated to Tallahassee, FL in the early 1990's and expanded on his natural given talent of working with electronics. He went on to become a highly sought after electrician, sharing his craft throughout Leon County and abroad. He made his imprint on life as the Master Electrician.

He was a friend to all and possessed a jovial spirit that deemed him "the life of the party". David was affectionately known by many as "Chevy", "Bubba", "Dirty", "Super Dave" and most recent "King David". He enjoyed life with family and friends, but the greatest joy of his life was being a father to his children.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his four children: Jaylon, Dayasia, Tayasia, and Da'Kavion Lilly , all of Tallahassee, FL; His loving parents: Copeland "Sonny" and Mary Ford Lilly, of Riviera Beach, FL; his sister: Karen Stringer (Phillip), of Atlanta, GA; nephews: Elder LaNorris McFadden (Erika) of Tallahassee, FL; Phillip Stringer II of Orlando, FL, and Kiaron Stringer of Atlanta, GA; Aunts: Ethel Coates of Tallahassee, FL, Dorothy Austin (Gregory) of Jacksonville, FL, Jessie M. Jeff, Lilla Anderson (Pasco) and Christine Ford (Carl) of Monticello, FL, Patricia Ward(Harry) of Orlando, FL, Carolyn Guyton (Julius) of Metcalf, GA,  Donna Ward (Leon) of Miramar, FL ; Uncles: Timothy Ford of Monticello, FL, Freddie Herring (Shirley) of East Hartford, CT; a host of Nephews, Great nieces, Great nephews, Cousins, God brothers and God sisters, along with other extended family and friends.

David was preceded in death by two of his sons: David Lilly, Jr., and Tayvion Lilly.
