Dorothy Lou Dendom passed away on Wednesday, October 21.

She was a bus driver for Wakulla County Schools, bus #117, for thirteen years. Dorothy had a green thumb and loved planting flowers. She also enjoyed interacting with her cat, chickens and ducks. Dorothy was a very skilled artist and was known for the numerous painting and murals she painted for others.

Left to cherish Dorothy's undying love and precious memories are her daughters, Cindy Henderson, Sandra (Leif) Sparby and Kathy (Albert) Hartsfield; her son, Jesse Simmons, Jr. (Shelia Turner); her granddaughters, Shannon (Matthew) Ainsworth, Sandi Henderson Summer (Eric) Reagan and Savanna Hartsfield; her grandsons, Steven (Marissa) Simmons, Scott Henderson, Dakota Hartsfield, Dustin Hartsfield, Hunter Hartsfield, Mason Hartsfield and Jacob Hartsfield; her great grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Annebelle Ainsworth, Violet Ainsworth, Triston Ainsworth, Ethan Simmons, Emma Henderson, Carley Henderson, Elena Xander; her sister, Robie Smith; her brother, Odis Cain along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Ruby Carnley Cain; her sister, Betty Haddock and her brother, Otis Cain.
