Duayne Robin
Barr
Nov 22, 1962 — Aug 27, 2026
Crawfordville
Duayne Robin Barr, 63, of Crawfordville, Florida, reeled in a life beautifully lived on August 27, 2026. Born November 22, 1962, he spent his life chasing the big catch and finding quiet peace on the water.
He was the beloved husband of Pamela Barr for 20 wonderful years. Together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and long days spent on the water.
Duayne was happiest fishing at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, St. George Island, and the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge in Florida. He would wake up long before dawn to catch bait, savoring the morning mist and the stunning sunrises over the water. One of his proudest moments came when he and a guide took his granddaughter fishing at St. Marks on the Gulf, watching her reel in a 32-inch redfish. He always felt the best days weren't measured by how many fish were caught, but by the peace found on the water and the memories made with the people he loved.
Off the water, Duayne was an avid University of Kentucky fan, passionately cheering on the Wildcats through every football and basketball season.
Duayne is survived by his wife, Pamela Barr; stepdaughter Katie Dav'e and son-in-law Digant Dav'e; granddaughter Nora Dav'e; sister and brother-in-law Kim and John Plymale and family; brother-in-law Michael Lloyd and family; and uncle Tyler Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Barr and Janice Vincent, and his stepfather, Ray Vincent.
Memorial donations in Duayne's honor may be made to the Friends of St. Marks Wildlife Refuge (stmarksrefuge.org/donate) or the Friends of Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery (friendsofwolfcreeknfh.com).
In honoring his wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
