Earline Dempsey

Earline Dempsey, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend to so many, peacefully entered rest on July 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is now resting high on that mountain with her beloved parents and her seven siblings.

Born on March 19, 1943, in Franklin County, Florida, Earline spent her life surrounded by the people and places she loved most. She adored spending time with her large family. Her incredible compassion and love for family led her to help raise three nieces and nephews, following tragedy in their young lives.

Earline was known for her incredible cooking skills. Her kitchen was more than a place to prepare food—it was the gathering point of countless family gatherings where memories were made and love was freely shared.

A proud native of Franklin County, Earline found great happiness on and around the water, especially fishing. Some of her happiest moments were spent as the First Mate aboard the Nautilus I, II, and III.

Earline leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her six children: Ronald Dempsey, James Dempsey, Malinda Dempsey, David Dempsey, and Kimberly Register; her fifteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Although Earline’s presence will be deeply missed by many, her unwavering strength, generous heart, and compassion for family will continue to inspire generations to come.
