George William Glover
1944-2026

George William Glover was a hardworking and dedicated man whose strong work ethic and commitment to his family were evident throughout his life. One of six children, he spent much of his early career in the grocery retail industry, working for companies such as A&P and IGA. His entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to own and operate Riversink Country Store, located off of Crawfordville Highway at Pixie Circle. After that, George continued his entrepreneurial venture by operating his own handyman business until his retirement.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Dewey; his beloved wife, Cynthia; and his son, Jonathon; his brothers, Huey and Louie; and his sisters, Pansy and Gheri;.

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, George went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Micah; and five beloved grandchildren; his sister, Bessie; his sister-in-law, Martha; his daughter, Susan;, along with other family members and friends who will forever remember his kindness, hard work, and enduring legacy.

A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
