Jeanette Ann Roe was born on January 26, 1947, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to her parents, Gerald and Velma Keener, who preceded her in death. On May 15, 1965 she married Larry Roe. Besides her wedding, another key date in Jeanette's life was September 20, 1958, when she was baptized in symbol of her dedication to Jehovah God. She was a member of the Crawfordville congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Over the decades she developed a close relationship with her heavenly Father. One primary way she displayed her faith was by sharing the good news of God's Kingdom with others. She was always kind, loving, and generous. Jeanette was a loyal servant of Jehovah, and an amazing caretaker of her family and friends. She had an intense love of music and enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She was also an excellent cook and baker, an avid reader, and a great confidant and teacher to young people, especially her grandchildren.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry Roe; her three children, Randal (Andrea) Roe & Bethanie (Robert) Leatherman, all of Crawfordville, FL and Kathleen (Travis) Funk of Syracuse, Indiana; two brothers, Gerald (Patricia) Keener, Jr of Indianapolis, IN and Thomas (Vanessa) Keener of Edinburgh, IN; her stepmother, Lois Keener of Columbus City, IN; seven grandchildren: Issac Roe, Megan Leatherman, Steven Roe, Ben Leatherman, Jon Leatherman, Ian Funk, and Emma Funk; and her beloved aunt, Delores Warren.

Jeanette's memorial service will be on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1298 Shadeville Road in Crawfordville, Florida.
