John Lovette Johnson
"DON"

John Lovette "Don" Johnson was born in Monticello, Florida, on August 17, 1961, to Sam Johnson and Johnnie Mae Davis.

"Don" accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello, Florida.

"Don" received his education and graduated from Jefferson County High School in Monticello, Florida.

After moving to Tallahassee, "Don" became a painter. He truly enjoyed his career as a painter. He painted homes and businesses all over until his health declined.

"Don" was a kind and loving person; there was no one that he came across who did not love him. There was always a smile, a hug, and an "I LOVE YOU" from him.

On Thursday, July 6, 2023, "Don" answered the call of Almighty God. He left to cherish his memories: his daughter, Tamela L. Watson; brothers, David (Kisha) Williams, Samuel "Mike" (Deborah) Johnson, Thomas "T.J." (Renee) Johnson, Johnathan (Linda) Johnson, and Arthur Johnson; sisters, Evonne (Jeff) Thomas, Eleanor (Dion) Bethel, Anjanette (Charles) Jones, and Althera Johnson; three grandchildren, Trivell "TJ" Spinger, Za'Karri Byrd, and Zion Byrd; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

"Don" was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Johnson and Johnnie Mae Davis, and a brother, Robert Barkley.

The Memorial Service will be at 11 AM, SATURDAY, July 22, 2023
