Katie Mae Henderson Randle

Sister Katie Mae Henderson Randle was born on Sunday, October 4, 1931, to the late Sell Henderson and Sennie Hodge Henderson in Calhoun, Georgia.

At an early age, she joined Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Arlington, Georgia. Katie attended school in Calhoun County, Georgia.  She was married to the late Aberdene Randle, Sr., and in this union, seven children were born.

The memories of  Sister Katie Mae Henderson Randle will always be cherished by her two daughters: Anita and Louise Randle; four sons: James (Mary Ann), Aberdene Jr., Walter, and Florzell (Natasha) Randle; four grandchildren: LaDonte (Marsha), LaShonte, Kim, and Caleb Randle; five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Vera Speed of Lakeland, FL., Willie Vera Hudson of Daytona Beach, FL., and Elvira (Ben) Brown of Camilla, GA; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and, a host of other relatives and friends.

Sister Katie Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Aberdene Randle, Sr.; one daughter: Elouise Randle; and, four siblings: Neva H. Williams, Mamie H. Chester, Mary Ann H. Canidate, and Leroy Henderson.
