Obituary

Brother Kelvin Antonio Mutch, Sr.

Kelvin Antonio Mutch, Sr. was born on October 30, 1965, at FAMU Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida, to Eddia Mae Leonard Mutch and Willie Calvin Mutch, Sr. He was affectionately known as Tony by his family and friends. He was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Florida, having attended Rickards High School.

During his youth, Tony was a very talented baseball pitcher. He loved dancing and was great at break dancing and pop-locking; he even had his own dance group.

Tony worked in food service for the Tallahassee Civic Center for a number of years. He also managed and operated his own business, A Mutch Cleaning Janitorial Service.

Tony was loved by all because of his big, compassionate heart. He would help anyone in need, even if it meant giving them the shirt off of his back. His sweet and loving spirit would simply light up a room.

He was a big jokester who could make anyone laugh, even on a rough day. He would even tell jokes about his own ailments. Tony kept a smile on his face throughout his illness.

Tony developed a much-needed relationship with Jesus Christ and joined Mt. Moriah Church of God In Unity under the leadership of Elder Christopher Stevens.

On October 15, 2024, Kelvin Antonio went home to be with the Lord.

Forever remembering and honoring Tony's love and compassionate spirit are his children, Kelvin Antonio Mutch, Jr., Tydrecka Antoynette Mutch, Shukel Kumine Mutch, Deshaun Antonio Mutch, and Kelvin Antonio Mutch, III; grandchildren, Cornelious Antonio Mutch, Cayden, Keing, Parrish, Emerson, Kelari, Ka'Zari, Memoir, Tanalia, Shukel, Jr., Deshaun, Jr., and Ja' Mirical; siblings, Willie Calvin Mutch, Jr., Eileen Cycloria Mutch, and Josette M. Tony's father, Willie Calvin Mutch, Sr., transitioned one day, twenty-one hours, and thirteen minutes before him. Others who preceded him in death included his mother, Eddia Mae Leonard Mutch; niece, Shaunta Stevens; uncles, Willie Morris, Jerry Morris, Alphonso Morris, Connie Morris, and Willie Clarence Mutch; and his aunts, Curtiss Morris, Mary Lee Morris, and Rebecca Morris.
