Lacey James Jones, Jr.

Lacey James Jones Jr. was born on Thursday, September 10, 1970, in Monticello, Florida, to Annie M. Jones and Lacey Jones Sr.

Lacey received his education in the Jefferson County School System. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church #2 in Tallahassee, Florida under the leadership of the Reverent Lorenzo Watkins.

Lacey possessed a gentle nature and was known for his humility. He held his family and friends dear to his heart. Lacey was well-known by many in his community as "Beep aka L.A". Lacey also was a person who didn't complain. Lacey will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

On Monday, July 29, 2024, Lacey quietly submitted to the call of his Lord and Savior.

Lacey's love and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of his parents: Annie M. Jones and Lacy Jones, Sr; loving sons: Rahshawd Jones and Braylon Jones; siblings: Rufus (Jessica) Wade, Shirley Jones, Anita Humose, Tammie Jones, Patricia Jones, Angela Jones, and Nadia Bryant; six aunts: Ethel Geathers, Mamie Bryant, Carol Bryant, Ruth Keaton, Bernice Keaton, and Teresa Bryant; two uncles: John L. (Elaine) Bryant and Kenneth Bryant; eight loving children, he called his own. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Lacey in death were his grandparents: Elouise Geathers, John H. Bryant, Fannie Jones, and John H. Jones.

Viewing/Visitation will be @ 4-6pm, FRIDAY, August 9, 2024

Funeral Service will be @ 2PM, SATURDAY, August 10, 2024

Interment with Final Rites will be immediately after the service on Saturday
