Lance Nealy, Sr. was born on Tuesday, April 14, 1981, to the union of George Nealy, Sr. and Melvin Jean Nealy of Monticello, Florida.

Lance accepted Christ at an early age. He confessed Christ as his personal Lord and Savior was baptized, and joined Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church to do his Master's will. Lance attended Jefferson County Public Schools and played basketball and baseball, but excelled in baseball. Lance loved the Dallas Cowboys. He was employed by Big Joe Jones for many years before going to Holland Land Service & Maintenance to work as a lawn care specialist.  Lance was outgoing and loved by many.

At the untimely age of 42, Lance unexpectedly passed away on Saturday,  April 13, 2024.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his children: Al'asia Nealy, Lance Nealy, Jr., and Arleja Nealy; brothers: Lonnie Williams, Jr., Robert (Tawatcha) Williams, and George Nealy, Jr.; favorite cousins: Shana  Johnson and Tekisha Lamar; fiancé, Latoya Fead and her children: Ja'Mirical Terry and William Terry, Jr.; mother figures: Dorothy Wise, Lenna Moore, and Carolyn Thompson; other children that he raised as his own and loved dearly; and, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Lance was preceded in death by his parents, George Nealy, Sr. and Melvin Jean Nealy.
