Linda Stowell Pittman

Linda Stowell Pittman, 76, the daughter of Robert Henry Stowell and Yvonne Hodge Stowell, passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2024, in Venice, Florida.

Linda was a native of Sopchoppy, Florida. She was employed for several years with the Leon County School Board until she relocated to Venice in 2012.

Linda loved playing music, camping, baking, gardening, and fishing; it was said that Linda was born with a fishing rod in her hand. Most of all, Linda was known for her kindness and loving spirit. Not only was she the matriarch of her family, she was the caregiver to many, having taken care of her parents until their demise and serving others in her family.

Linda's memories, kindness, and devotion to her family will forever be cherished in the hearts of her daughters, Michelle (Richard) Pittman-Leo and Stephanie (Rochelle) Pittman; grandchildren, David Pittman and Nicole Leo; and her cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Henry and Yvonne Hodge Stowell, and a brother, Joseph Hodge Stowell.

Graveside Services will be @ 12 PM, THURSDAY, October 10, 2024
