Mattie Pearl Jackson, was born on November 28, 1950 to the late Celia Howell and Will Zeigler in Monticello, Florida. Mattie was the sister of the GRACE FCS's Chaplin, Pastor R. L. Scott. Several years ago she relocated to Melbourne, Florida. Mattie Pearl was married to John Jackson of Melbourne, Florida. Mattie was a loving person who loved spending time with her family even if it meant traveling a distance.
On Thursday, March 11, 2021, God walked through his garden of many flowers and plucked a bright red rose named Mattie Pearl. Left to cherish her undying love and precious memories are her loving husband, John Jackson; her children, Shelia, Carla and Lester; her grandchildren; her sisters, Pastor Rosa L. Scott & Celia Mae Townsend; her brother, Sylvester Zeigler; and a host of other relatives & friends.
The viewing will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 7-8PM at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10AM at the church.
