Obituary

Patrick Lashaun Terry was born on Saturday, August 23, 1980, to loving parents Barry Terry and Elizabeth Gooden in Quitman, Georgia

Patrick was educated in the Madison County Public School System. He was very active in the Junior ROTC and played football for the Madison County Cowboys. He graduated from Madison County High School in 1999 and went on to graduate with honors in carpentry from North Florida Community College.

Finding his "good thing," Patrick married Va'Shika Greene on October 10, 2012, in Thomasville, Georgia. Patrick was a loving and devoted husband to Va'Shika for 10 years and 10 months.  God blessed their union with three children.

Patrick's love and devotion will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  His amazing personality and love for others touched many hearts. Prior to working at Godby High School, Patrick worked at Greenville Hills Academy.

Patrick departed this life on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Patrick's loving memories will be forever cherished by his wife: Va'Shika Terry; three daughters: Passion Terry, Zy'Daysheia Terry, and, Ya'Quashia Milline, all of Midway, FL; two sons: Na'Yzeruian Terry and Za'Yreelijah Grant, both of Midway, FL; parents: Elizabeth (David) Gooden of Greenville, FL and Barry Terry of Monticello, FL; one sister: Ceiji (Jimmy) Simmons of Monticello, FL;  two brothers: Herman Terry and Varian Terry, both of Greenville, FL; grandfather: Herman Cobb of Greenville, FL; mother-in-law: Rosa Lee (Thomas) Allen of Midway, FL; father-in-law: James Berthal (Dorena) Greene of Monticello, FL; sisters-in-law: Resheema (Tony) McLauren of Las Cruces, NM and LaSheba Greene of Monticello, FL; brothers-in-law: Clevone Greene of Monticello, FL, and JaCoby Green of Denver, CO; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents: Betty Jean Cobb and Issa B. (Jessie) Terry; and a nephew: Johnquez L. Grayer.

Viewing/Visitation will be 4-6pm, FRIDAY, August 25, 2023
