Sister Pearlie Mae Loggins

Sister Pearlie Mae Loggins, affectionately known to many as "Kid," began life on March 2, 1942, in Monticello, Florida. She was the daughter of Josephine and Dan Loggins, Sr.

Sister Pearlie Mae received her elementary and secondary education at Aucilla Training School. As a young adult, she accepted Christ and joined Shiloh A.M.E. Church, where she gave many years of dedicated and loyal service until her health failed.

Soon after midnight, in the stillness of the darkness on Thursday, March 28, 2024, an angel silently came and closed the doors to mark the conclusion of her incredible earthly journey.

A legacy of love and precious memories will always be shared by her daughters: RoseMary Williams of Aucilla, FL, Mary (Jackie) Tillman of Madison, FL, and, Lanetra Cooks of Aucilla, FL, whom she raised as a daughter; sons: William (Denise) Loggins of Tallahassee, FL, Charles (Cecila) Crumity of Monticello FL, and Jamall (Tashika) Washington of Tampa, FL; brothers: Horace Loggins of Tacoma, WA, Dan Loggins, Jr. of Killeen, TX, Matthew Loggins of Seaside, CA, Jerry Loggins of Monticello, FL; sisters: Barbara J. Greene of Crawfordville, FL, Betty (David) Simmons of Lawton, OK, Carolyn Wade of Tallahassee, FL, and, Idella Scott of Monticello, FL; special grandsons: David, Ladarrious, Chad, Josh, Marteris, Velton, Preston, Charles Jr., Troy,  Michael, Jordan, and Amorris; special granddaughters: Dorothy, Charlita, Vaneisha, Tamesha, Tealeashea, and Michayla; surrogate kids: Paul Wallace, Calvin Galloway, Leroy Carmen Cummings and Lewis Anderson, Jr.; close friends: Ruby Crumity and caretaker Carolyn Hodge; and, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sister Pearlie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Loggins Sr. and Josephine Loggins; stepmother, Ola Mae Loggins; lifelong companion, Roosevelt "Buddy" Crumity; and siblings: Beulah, Daniel, Louvenia, Mary, Jimmy Lee, Henry Lee, Wilson, Franklin, Phillip, and James.

Viewing/Visitation will be @ 4-6pm, FRIDAY, April 5, 2024

Funeral Service will be at 11AM, SATURDAY, April 6, 2024
