ROBERT WAYNE McKENZIE was born on April 28th 1948 in Miami, Florida to the late Allard McKenzie and Ruth Harrell. In 1966, after high school, Robert enlisted in the United States Army. During his service to our great country, Robert received many metals including the Purple Heart.

Having such a great love for lake fishing, Robert resided in a cabin on Lake Seminole in Donaldsonville. He enjoyed gardening and believed that everybody should know how.

Those left to always cherish his love and fond memories are: his children, Olivia Marie (Victor Tholen) McKenzie, Misty McKenzie, Tylr McKenzie and Robert (Sarah) McKenzie II; nine grandchildren; sister, Carole Hernandez; and his dog whom he loved dearly, Gypsy. Robert was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Ann Miller, Betty Jo DiGregorio, Opal Jeanette Pienta and Mary McKenzie; his brother, Jimmy McKenzie.
