Obituary

Sally Jane Parker, was born in Wacissa, Florida on June 9, 1963 to the late Harry James and Hattie Louise Fishburn Parker. She attended the public school of Monticello, Florida: the former Howard Academy and Jefferson County High School. She worked various jobs to support her family. Sally was much loved by her employers, co-workers and patrons. She was full of life and she enjoyed celebrating life with her children. She was a wonderful mother and was fiercely protective of her children; she was like a mother hen. Sally was a member of Monticello COGIC under the leadership of Elder Coleman Fairley. She loved hearing her pastor sing "I'll Fly Away"

On Wednesday, August 26th at 8:15 pm, Sally answered our Heavenly Father's call and transitioned from this life into a life that the Father had prepared for her. Treasuring her loving memories are her daughters, Shontina Louise Ellis of Monticello, FL and Robin (Dank "Clay") Forbes; her sons, Dathana Ricardo (Cheshonda Lashelle) Parker of Brunswick, GA, Wilbur Lee Ellis, Jr (D'Andrea Williams) of Monticello, FL; and Sidney (Jessica) Plummer of Orlando, FL.; her grandchildren, Donyae, Elizie, Tyreke, Sidney III, Wilbur III, Travon, Zaevon.
