Striker E. Moretti

They will not go quietly,
the pets who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives.
Old habits still can make us think
we hear them at the door
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometimes, coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts
belongs to them…
and always will.

Striker Edgar Moretti was born on April 18, 2018 in Austin, Texas. He was adopted by loving parents, Elizabeth and Daniel Edgar Moretti. Being so drawn to Striker's personality, they drove all the way to Austin, Texas, to make his acquaintance. Although they had seen him on FaceTime numerous times, meeting him in person was like a dream. Without a doubt, Elizabeth and Daniel instantly knew he was the perfect addition to their fur family. All the way home to Mexico Beach, Florida, Striker was the life of the party.

Striker really loves spending time with his family. Elizabeth and Daniel traveled a lot with their fur babies. When the family purchased their new RV, Elizabeth and Daniel made sure it had a custom space built for their pets, which included a special nap area for Striker.

On July 1, 2024, Striker passed away quietly in the night. He will be dearly missed and remembered by his parents, Elizabeth and Daniel Edgar Moretti; his fur brother, Nelson Stefano Moretti; and his fur sister, Stella Elizabeth Moretti.
