Violet Lousie Davis was born in Deland, Florida on July 25, 1933 to the late Oscar Washington Rigdon and Byrdie Lee Mobley.
She married the late Thomas Allen Davis on May 8, 1988.
Since 1987 Violet was a member of the Panacea Full Gospel Assembly under the leadership of Pastor Charles Barwick. She was a faithful member of the church until her health began to fail. Violet truly loved reading her bible, doing her puzzle books and shelling peas. She was very out spoken.
On Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 11:25AM, Violet transitioned from this life into a life that the Father has prepared for her.
Those left to cherish her memories and love include her daughters, Tammy (Bob) Nichols, Tena (Brent) Altman, Taffy Smith, and Theresa Lanier; her sons, Timothy (Susan) Phipps and Tony Lanier; her Fourteen grandchildren; Twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Myra Rigdon, Ola Mae (H.B.) Kirkland, Shirley Rene Carmona, and Debra Artille; her brother, Oscar (Shirley)Rigdon, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her daughter Tracey Garcia & her son, Alan Smith.
